The Knox Area Rescue Ministries Thrift Stores serve the community by offering affordable merchandise as a Christian Ministry to the general public. The revenue generated through the sale of donated items is used to support the ongoing work of Knox Area Rescue Ministries.

We accept the following donations:

  • Furniture (tables, chairs, bedroom, dining room, etc.)
  • Household items such as lamps, kitchen equipment, glassware, pots/pans, etc.
  • Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing – including infants and toddlers – clothes should be bagged or boxed, not on hangers, and in good condition
  • Toys, games and children’s items
  • Electronics – including televisions, stereos, etc.
  • Household appliances in working order and 10 years old or less (washers, dryers, stoves, etc.)

Store hours:

Monday – Saturday: 9AM-7PM. Sherlake and Merchants locations offer extended hours until 9PM.  All stores are closed on Sundays.
