The Corners of Your Field is a biblically based program that engages a united effort with Knox County partner churches and Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) to care for the needy in our community. The Corners of Your Field Program demonstrates how purposed and individual giving of our excess goods will not only benefit Knoxville’s less fortunate, but also the giver and community as well. KARM Thrift Stores serve as donation centers across Knox County. Proceeds from the thrift stores are used to assist the needs of the homeless and those less fortunate through the on going work of Knox Area Rescue Ministries. Clients of KARM have the added opportunity of acquiring job skills by way of the Abundant Life Retail Training Program facilitated by KARM Thrift Stores. KARM Thrift Store shoppers will enjoy the low cost alternative and easy access to goods in a well organized and department store-like atmosphere. Participating partner churches will generate recurring voucher credits that can be used within their own benevolent ministries.

With your support, the Knox Area Rescue Ministries serves up to 1500 meals each day and shelters over 400 men, women, and children every night. More than an emergency shelter, KARM provides resources and ministry programs to help people overcome their addictions and move out of homelessness. All of KARM’s ministries are designed to restore lives in Jesus’ name by binding the wounds of shattered lives so that hope is renewed in people’s hearts.
